I'm just going to say it straight up. There is nothing to be done. People are always going to hate and always going to find a way in. Let's Instagram sees cyberbullying and they block an account, that person will be back on Instagram in less than 5 minutes because they can just create another account. It's always going to happen no matter what. Nowadays people can hack and do serious damage to companies. When those social media create software to block any cyberbully comments or actions, those people might have the power to hack and they get their account back. It sad to but, there's nothing to do about it.

Is graffiti considered art... yes. I think graffiti is art because you're still expressing your feelings instead of having it on canvas or paper. New York has tons of amazing graffiti but there is also gang graffiti but they aren't doing it for art. Basquiat is a famous for is graffiti and its cool because the art looks all distorted. He has several art pieces in New York. I also like Banksy's art because he makes controversial artwork. One of his famous pieces is the rioting man throwing a bouquet of flowers. Another famous one, is the little girl that her heart balloon is floating away. To conclude this, I think graffiti is art because its no difference on a wall than on a canvas or paper. I think money can buy happiness, to a certain extent. If money you can anything you like. Let's say you one day you want to buy something you like, then when you buy you feel happy. I know it might shallow but once you don't like something, you can buy something that'll make you happy again.
I would buy a lot of cool clothes and shoes because that makes me happy. I would Jordans because since they are really expensive and if I had money, I'd buy LOTS of shoes. I'd probably buy a nice house and a car. I think our society is giving kids to many trophies. When those kids that have trophies that fill their room get older and life hits them, they're gonna wonder why they don't get the best spot at their job and a good salary. They don't understand that in life, stuff isn't given to you for free you earn it. My parents come from countries that they didn't have the opportunities that we have here, my parents had to earn and work up to get what they wanted. Lets say there is a soccer team. On the team, there is always that one person that does the least and if they are getting trophies for doing NOTHING. That's wrong because that person is going to think that they deserve everything. It'll be harder for them to learn that nothing is free in. I think too young to have a phone is in elementary kids. I feel like once you enter middle school, you start to get out more with friends so it's have a phone because you can communicate easier with friends, plus I imagine their parents would want to stay in touch while they are out.
Every one has their own aspirations in life, but it's their responsibility to chase it and pursue it. You can say you're going to eventually do, but what most people do is just procrastinate and throw it to the side. There are to types of dreams, it's the short term (like getting a good grade on a test) and the long term (like curing cancer).
People dreams can go very far as long as you follow it and stick with it, you can do anything. It's very hard to have a dream and do and also have people follow you as well because my opinions might be different than your opinions. But, if the your dream ends up being followed by a lot of other people, then you just changed the world. Right now l'm reading "The President Street Boys : Growing Up Mafia" by Frank Di Matteo. The is a non-fiction based on his life growing up with the Italian Mafia and going the mob. The book takes place during the 1960's and he uses good diction to make you visualize like you were actually there.
Frank uses allusion in the book by comparing movies like "The Godfather", "Wise Guys" and of course "Scarface". I'm guessing he uses allusion to make the reader understand a bit better of how life was back then during gang wars and kidnapping etc. In the book, on page 59, it talks about how a crew member called Jelly was killed on his boat and got chopped into pieces and put his ring finger in a box to send to the boss, and the box had a not that said "Jelly swims with the fishes now". So... Jelly's pieces were thrown in the water. A benefit is that it teaches you to reflect and share your work and get feedback from other people. One challenge is that only one person can hack into the mainframe and steal info, or even delete. E-portfolios can show the professor or whoever you're trying to impress that you are responsible and consistent with it. I think people should look at others e-portfolios so they can give advice. I learned that if I have several things in my e-portfolios it can show that I'm responsible with my work.
I have mixed feelings with ebooks and real books. With ebooks I don't have to worry about space that the books might take away. But, something about having a real book just feels a lot better. So, personally I like real books because it just feels better to read.
Knowing me, if had an ebook I'll probably get distracted by a game or a notification. While in a book, it's only you and words and you don't get distracted as easily. A plus about ebooks is that the books won't cost as much as a hard covered book. Every week is a great way to start from scratch. It gives you an opportunity to make short term goals. For example, let's say in school you want to get a good grade on a test, it gives you a reason to self improve. Another example can be, you want to eat healthier, or you want to add 10 pounds so you can gain more muscle.
I look forward to a new a week because it's just self-improvement. I'll study for a test or quiz on Friday. Also, I can meet someone new. But, the only reason I like a new week is mostly so I can go to school and learn something new. It gives me a chance to forget about last week and start again. If I feel like I had a bad week, the week offers me a fresh start. |
